Putting aside the distinct possibility of a Bin Laden capture/kill October Surprise (why else does Bush seem to be thinking about him again), just imagine the shitstorm that would have ensued if John Kerry's announced strategy for capturing America's #1 enemy were to wait by the phone like a lonely teenager?
