$10 Million Grant Supports Colin Powell Center For Policy Studies

Gen. Colin L. Powell, USA (ret.) and President Gregory H. Williams of The City College of New York (CCNY) announced that the New York Life Foundation is giving $10 million to establish The New York Life Endowment for Emerging African-American Issues at the Colin Powell Center for Policy Studies.

I hadn't heard of this Harlem-based Center before. Its initiatives include:

Multilateral Diplomacy and International Organizations: Examines the histories and best practice of international organizations such as the United Nations, with particular emphasis on issues of conflict and security.
