Her supporters are the same dupes who watch and contribute to televangelists. Not much difference there. Ready to be lied to and manipulated without having a clue.
Sarah Palin is the typical specimen nowadays to the Dumbing Down of America. No more so than those who "support" her and don't know why.

Given that last year we elected a president who -- despite a thin resume and no fixed agenda (or at least not a progressive one) -- was widely celebrated as a transcendent savior, I would have to say such a situation is extremely credible. Familiar, even.
This video rivals the one of candid interviews of Obama supporters last year. Same deal: didn't have a clue what he stood for. One woman expressed a belief she would never have to pay rent again when Obama was elected. I wonder how that's working out for her.
