"Young lady," the time to speak out against a war the President is test-marketing is after the formal announcement!
President Obama was heckled on Iran during his remarks at a campaign fundraiser [in Manhattan] tonight when a supporter shouted, “Use your leadership! No war on Iran!”
“No one’s announced a war, young lady,” Obama said, drawing applause from the crowd of 900 mostly young professionals who crowded a showroom at ABC Carpet & Home for a $1,000 per person gala.
“You’re jumping the gun a little bit there,” Obama added.

I understand the President's frustration. Lots of people are still telling me they oppose the "war" in Libya, forcing me to explain again that the proper time for registering objections will be after that war is declared.
The right time to debate America's military policy is any time other than:
* Before we've announced the war
* When we're on the march to war (i.e., aways)
* At a time of war (i.e., always)
* When it's time to look forward, not back
Ability to argue against war, outside of these few specific times, is what makes America's democracy so special!
This episode demonstrates not only that Obama is a conservative (war-monger) but that he believes his own shit.
