I get the first two but what's the story about Obama mistreating a dog?

For the record, I think both the Romney and Obama dog stories are ridiculous trivia. Anyone who's driven with a dog knows they crave the windy air, practically diving out the window to get that experience, and one can hardly fault a young boy for eating the food his folks put in front of him as culturally acceptable.
