Damn that nails it! "That's stupid! doesn't he know that Obama's a Democrat?"
We call the slightly-less-right-wing party the Republicrats now. America has no meaningful politics left of right, and hasn't had for some decades. The Ruling Oligarchy would prefer to just buy their preferred Republicans but will rent the "Democrats" temporarily if necessary.
