The battle of who could healthcare less
John Cole on the Affordable Care Act:
we’re debating the reality of what we have now versus the 18th century version of what Republicans would replace it withRahm Emanuel, then Obama's Chief of Staff, on the Affordable Care Act:
“[The ACA is] very similar to the bill Republicans advocated in '93. And, if you look at Mr. Frum's piece, former Bush speechwriter, he noted, which is some of the things I have said before even to this show and others, that this is very similar to policies advocated back in the '90s by Republicans, not individual policies, the basic approach, which is a free-market, market-based-system approach.”

President Obama disappoints the Democrats by doing what the Republicans propose and enrages the Republicans for the same reason.
"Disappointing" is weasel wording.
It's disappointing when someone doesn't live up to their potential.
It's outrageous when someone betrays your trust.
Guess which category Obama falls into.
Shorter John Cole:
"Thank you sir! May I have another?"
Michael Murray nailed it with his comment.
