Johnny, you weren't the subject of this cartoon. I'm not criticizing my blog here for having your comment, nor you for posting it. I mean that blogs like Huffington Post are propagating this stuff.

VL is right. There are numerous liberal sites that covered that non-story.
Dan, you're not helping. I'm sure Vast understands why I thought it was about me. It was simple misunderstanding, and I'll delete the post now.
Vast, c'mon--you have spent years reading deeper, unwritten, unacknowledged meanings into the things that both parties say. Yet now, you seem to be arguing that it is childish, inappropriate, or ridiculous to examine a potentially hurtful remark delivered by a particular public figure?
We have the strength to discuss policies both domestic and foreign. We have the strength to speak out against the slaughter of faraway children as well as the casual insulting of domestic children.

When I hear of Sarah Palin's grandson warning us of Vladimir Putin flying into his airspace or seeing Russia from his house in Alaska, then I'll take him as seriously as I do his celebrity-cretin grandmother.
Today I learned from the liberal blogz that Mitt Romney is a clod for saying stuff about the London Olympics that liberal bloggers have also been saying about them. Mitt, why you so stooopid?

I suppose I might care about what the two parties on the far right said about each other if what I thought of them could have some impact on their policies instead of just their PR.
Today I learned from the liberal blogz that Mitt Romney is a clod for saying stuff about the London Olympics that liberal bloggers have also been saying about them.
Yesterday I learned the Mitt Romney is ignorant for saying the the British military wouldn't have been strong enough to hold off a Nazi invasion without the natural barrier provided by the English channel which is wrong because because because MITT ROMNEY IS A POOPY HEAD.
Sarah just tweeted she stopped by a Chick-fil-A (the anti-gay chicken joint) to "support a great business", going completely out of her way to offend gays. And that isn't a political issue, it's a character issue. She's proud of her intolerance, and likes to flaunt it. At this point, to only be capable of viewing her as a victim, is to say misogyny > homophobia, and that isn't too liberal for Obama, Palin or anyone else.

Thanks for mentioning that Palin tweet. Today's cartoon (in the works now, was offline most all of yesterday), is inspired by a similar sentiment by local sports hero Tim Thomas.
No thanks for framing your comment with an obnoxious straw man about what I'm "capable" of criticizing. Sorry I'm not glued to Palin's feed, providing mandated criticism of every bad thing she says.
I don't follow Sarah's feed either, it was retweeted. Her timing is perfect to keep this discussion going. There's a lot I'd like to explain and I want to take my time (all day) formulating the post. No trouble-making third parties in the meantime please.
I would like to lend my support to the idea that no one should interfere with Johnny's time at Vast's autograph table. Please stand back. No pushing. I told you, no pushing!
