I think this is a great investment. It possibly helped an extreme candidate win the nomination, making it easier for the Democrat to win the general election. I suspect this won't be his last moment of insanity.
Democrats can't walk and chew gum.
Two hundred fifty thousand registered Democrats voted for George W. Bush in Florida, in the 2000 election.
And they still haven't figured out what Obama is about.
It's nice to have the reassurance from Darren that it's all just a big game to the Demos in power. Play dice with women's health, or whatever "special interest" allows you to terrorize the vulnerable and fearful, making them open their wallets and plead for compassion from oligarchs who really only care about themselves. What matters most is that his side looks good and the other side looks bad. Even though, when you look past the rhetoric, access to abortion has dwindled steadily with the DP in charge. It's almost as if they, too, think women are not human but subhuman. It's almost as if they expect me to be grateful that legal abortion is basically an expensive designer good at this point, and if I can't afford or go bankrupt accessing it, who cares? They have me supine and desperate, and that's what they really want.
To hell with that, and to hell with them.
