I smell fodder for a VL cartoon! Maybe, "As president, I drone first, aim wherever, and posthumously exonerate *if* the dead civilians can prove it!"
Actually, I had thought of doing a strip based on that quote and general idea. For whatever reason, I moved onto other ideas, and I'm about to queue up something else, less topical, for tomorrow. Thanks!
There's a guy like Red Egg here who I see some times in the employee lounge where I work.
I've gotten really good at nodding along with whatever he says while focusing my gaze past him, towards some undefined point between the employee bulletin board and the exit door.
Anything for a buck, you know? :/
And, yeah, I do kind of feel sorry for him. In other ways, he's really not such a horrible person. I've met way more difficult in my glorious temp career.
Somehow that just makes it worse.
