Just had time to listen — great interview. Nice to hear you speak about your journey with such passion and insight. In a way, you weren't the one who went anywhere: you stood on basic, run-of-the-mill liberal principles while the Democratic party drifted further and further right...off a cliff.
Thanks! And, yes, I don't think I've moved all that much politically. Between finally understanding/admitting what the Democrats had long been, and their increasingly blatant conservatism, that's where the daylight between me and my old party comes from.
